The Art of Listening and Following
WORKSHOP
This workshop opens the space for one of the most original forms of Qi Gong – formless, spontaneous Qi Gong, known as Zifa Gong. Here we enter the innermost circle of practice: listening. We turn inward, attending with all our senses, and allow the body to rediscover those movements that arise from the flow of Qi itself. No forming, no leading – only subtle perceiving and allowing oneself to be led.
Zifa Gong – Spontaneous Qi Gong & the Return to Naturalness
This workshop opens the space for one of the most original forms of Qi Gong – formless, spontaneous Qi Gong, known as Zifa Gong.
Here we enter the innermost circle of practice: listening.
We turn inward, attending with all our senses, and allow the body to rediscover those movements that arise from the flow of Qi itself. No forming, no leading – only subtle perceiving and allowing oneself to be led.
In Zifa Gong we meet a primordial feminine quality:
- the trust in what arises of its own accord.
- The courage to release control.
- The wonder at what reveals itself when we offer space rather than shape.
We approach the practice anatomically and somatically – recognising and releasing tension – and energetically-spiritually, experiencing the expression of Qi directly.
Both dimensions weave together into a deep, still, intuitive wholeness.
When Qi flows freely, movements, stirrings and impulses arise that we cannot plan. They surface from the inner intelligence of the body – the creative nature that has always lived within us.
Through spontaneous movement, what was blocked begins to clear; we feel more alive, lighter, more awake. Inner wisdom finds its way back to the surface.
Why this workshop is particular
For all women who:
- wish to return to their intuition
- long for naturalness, gentleness and inner truth
- sense that the body is a gateway to deep wisdom
- are curious about spontaneous movement and free forms of expression
- want to discover healing, non-conceptual Qi Gong practices
This workshop stands alone as a complete experience, or deepens the journey of the first three Waterways workshops.
