The immortal void
Is called the dark womb, the dark womb’s gate

From her

Waterways Qi Gong

We live in times of separation. From the earth. From the body. From each other and ourselves.

A world that demands speed, performance and constant availability draws on our deepest resources. Yang without root. Movement without stillness. Doing without being.

We reach our limits. The old structures no longer hold. A longing is palpable – for depth, for authenticity, for return.

Our Offer

WaterWays offers Qi Gong courses and retreats for women who wish to deepen the connection to their body, inner world, and femininity. No previous experience is needed — the practice is open to women of all ages and physical conditions.

In our work, we move with Qi, the life force, through movement, stillness, breath, and awareness. Layer by layer, at your own pace, a deeper connection to yourself can emerge.

These spaces are guided by women and held within female community. From stillness, movement begins to arise, reaching the deeper layers of the body and being. The greatest potential for healing lies in connection — to yourself, to your body, and to other women.

Retreats

To step away for a few days and truly immerse — in practice, in community, in stillness. Retreats are held in person, in carefully chosen locations. A rare and nourishing space, guided by women, for women.

Workshops

A focused exploration of a specific theme — in person or online, over a weekend or across several sessions. Around ten hours of practice and learning in total, with time to go deep, integrate and share.

Regular Classes

The weekly training sessions provide ideal support for your personal practice. Rhythm and consistency are the keys to lasting change and embedding the practice in your system. You’ll receive guidance and corrections, no matter where you’re at in your practice, and regardless of whether or how often you practice on your own. Supported by the group, your practice becomes more effective and powerful.

Yin is the hidden, the dark, the deep. Water that finds its way—quietly, inexorably, nourishing.
The feminine embodies this quality.

Yet for a long time, it was suppressed, overlooked, and forgotten. We feel the consequences—in our bodies, in our relationships, and in the world.

Upcoming events

Regular Class

Qi Gong for Women

Monday 7:15 pm till 8:30 pm | Bern

In this class we explore what it means to become whole again – layer by layer. We cultivate the capacity to feel, to listen, to flow. Through gentle, regulating and yet deeply transformative movement, we strengthen our nervous system, harmonise the flow of energy (Qi) and support natural self-regulation on every level: physical, emotional, energetic and mental.

Workshop

Kotau – the Dance of Yin & Yang between Heaven and Earth

5./6.9.2026 | BERN

The practice of prostrations leads us into the inner rhythm of Yin and Yang: sinking downward, becoming soft, receiving – and rising again, opening, awakening. Between earth and heaven a subtle dance arises, connecting pelvis, heart space, spine and breath. A workshop for women who wish to experience the living play of release, strength and inner alignment in the body.

retreat

Turning inward – Darkness, Roots, Winter

3.-6.12.2026 | BERGENGEL, SCHARNACHTAL

As the year draws to a close and the days grow short, the darkest time of the cycle begins – an invitation to turn inward. Like nature withdrawing its sap into the roots, we too may release what has served its purpose. Letting die what no longer wishes to be nourished. A space arises that allows withdrawal and regeneration. Gentle movement and deep stillness accompany us on this journey through the water element – home of essence, origin, and depth.

Down & In – Yin Principles in Qi Gong Practice for the Female System

11./18./25.10. & 1.11.2026 | ONLINE

A four-part online Qi Gong course for women, turning inward through gentle movement, awareness, rhythm and repetition. The focus is on reconnecting with the lower abdomen and pelvis – the body’s deepest Yin space.

Working with Renata

If you are looking for personal and intensive accompaniment, wish to receive practice impulses at your own pace, and want to experience process work in an intimate setting, you have the opportunity to book private mentoring sessions.

We take time to understand your situation, your needs and your wishes, and put together a practice programme tailored specifically to you.

You will be accompanied according to your possibilities – online and/or in person. Body treatments are a wonderful additional way to deepen the work.

Qi Gong gives us tools to find our way back—to our own life force, to our bodies, and to connection. Not as a technique—but as a living practice.

This is where healing begins...
